Annual Conference 2005 Outreach Project

At our 2005 Annual Conference we asked local churches to engage in a collection to benefit the victims of the South East Asia tidal waves. Many Health Kits were collected to minister to the victims of the devastated areas. A truck from Sager Brown’s United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) Depot in Baldwin, LA., came in to take collected Health Kits and ship them.

Other Ways to Help

Tsunami victims still need our support! The best way to help is by donating money for the relief efforts to help the victims rebuild their lives.

There are several ways you can donate:

• By Check: Make payable to UMCOR and mark "Advance #274305, South Asia Emergency Fund" in the memo area. Drop in your church offering plate.
• By Credit Card: Make a donation via UMCOM's secure server
• Bishop Coyner also urges North Indiana United Methodists to help rebuild the UM Church in Banda Aceh, a region severely affected by the tsunami. Send these gifts to the North Indiana Conference, PO Box 869, Marion, IN 46952 and mark your donation "Rebuild the Methodist Church in Indonesia."
