Hispanic Community Services

This ministry is identified as an outreach of the United Methodist Church. It is housed in a United Methodist Church which provides all utilities. Our main concerns are justice, advocacy, economic adjustments, education, social services, physical environment, etc.

Lafayette Urban Ministries

The Lafayette Urban Ministry was started in 1972 by seven downtown church congregations as a Christian response to hunger, homelessness, and poverty in Greater Lafayette. The Lafayette Urban Ministry serves the spiritual, emotional, social, and economic needs of Greater Lafayette's neediest children and families.

Operation Classroom/Operation Doctor

Operation Classroom's primary mission, in partnership with the Liberia and Sierra Leone United Methodist annual conferences, is to assist in Christian-based education and health care.

The Operation Doctor program is the medical program area of Operation Classroom. We have chosen to respond to the invitation of the Sierra Leone and Liberia Annual Conferences of the UMC to jointly develop an interactive medical mission program. Its purpose is to help meet the public health needs of Liberia and Sierra Leone in the name of Christ.
