This year North Indiana Conference Mission Volunteers Resource Team offers team scholarships youth or adult teams who wish to participate in a United Methodist-supported mission trip. Team leaders must apply for the scholarship by completing the application form, attaching a team budget, and a letter of support from the local pastor.

The awards may vary in amount, depending upon the number of applicants based on the destination of the project. Teams serving in the United States may receive as much as $300 while teams who travel internationally may receive as much as $1000 depending on the number of people on the team and the specific request for support. Priority will be given to a first-time work team experience.

The priorities are:

To increase the participation of United Methodists from North Indiana Conference in Volunteer in Mission projects.
To support the participation of United Methodists from a variety of ethnic groups in the mission and ministries of North Indiana Conference.

Application Process

Submit the following items to complete the application process:

Download and complete the application form (see below). Use additional sheets if necessary.
Attach a budget with clear income and expenditure projections.
A letter of recommendation from a United Methodist pastor.
