This is a matching-funds grant for new ministries in local churches targeted toward teaching people how to reach new population groups of children, youth or adults. Priority will be given to new, creative education programs to any of the targeted age-levels, but especially the unchurched or those in poverty. The new program may be short term, or launch of a future ongoing ministry.

Grants of $200 will be provided by the Education Division of the North Indiana Conference, Board of Discipleship, to local churches who will provide matching funds from their church budget or other resources. Grant applications must be submitted by April 1 or September 1 to the address below. Awards will be made within one month and the program must be launched within one year of receiving the award.

If your church was granted a NIC Christian Education Grant in the past, please do not apply.
