This course will explore the unique content of the ancient book of Ezekiel, showing how this content, despite its distance from us in time, space and culture, speaks to the people of the 21st century. Like the Judeans in the 6th century BC, many of us find ourselves in "a strange land." Many of the certainties of another generation have been swept away and we wonder whether God has a word for us in times like these. Ezekiel shows us that though the times are different, the issues, and God‘s responses to them and his prescription for them remain piercingly relevant.
