This seminar will challenge pastors/church leadership to think in new ways about the millennial generation and the strengths and gifts they bring to ministry and to the church. Time will be spent understanding the characteristics and challenges this generation faces as they leave high school to enter college and the work force. A highlight of the seminar will feature a young adult panel sharing their ministry journey with participants.


REV. SUSAN HAY is a deacon in the Tennessee Annual Conference certified in Christian Education and youth ministry. She has been in youth ministry over 30 years and continues to enjoy the excitement and energy of working with youth and the adult who are called into ministry with them. For the 15 past years Susan has been at the General Board of Discipleship conducting research in generational theory, effective practices of youth ministry, discerning sense of call and leading workshops and seminars in youth ministry.
