MMinistry Development resources for events beyond the scope of this brochure are available to North Indiana Conference ministers serving in full-time appointments. Programs are offered by many institutions of higher learning and agencies serving our nation and church. Scholarship aid is available for any out-of-conference ministry development conducted by an approved seminary, college, university, and other agency. NOTE: Travel expenses are not covered in scholarship grants.

Forms should be returned to Ministry Development, PO Box 869, Marion, IN 46952 prior to the event. The Scholarship Committee reviews all requests and notifies applicants of its action, normally within a ten-day period.

The maximum total or scholarships in a three-year period for ministers (clergy and diaconal) with a full-time Conference appointment (an Elder, Deacon less than full time will be prorated by percentage of appointment) is $500 in the first six years, and $1,000 in year seven and following.

The scholarship fund for U. M. Certified Professionals over a three-year period is $400 for the first six years of ministry, and $600 for year seven and following.
