Preaching With Power
Rev. Dr. Gennifer Brooks
This workshop addresses the understanding of power in the pulpit and what is required in the development and preaching of sermons that harness the power of the Holy Spirit to make a difference in the life of the hearers. It debunks the belief that power preaching is the purview of the preacher, or is associated with a particular style or genre of preaching. The workshop includes both theory and practice and attendees will be required to develop and deliver portions of a sermon. Attendees are asked to bring a sermon that they have preached recently.
