Congregational AssessmentThe Congregational Assessment is a one-time consultation conducted with a church's leadership to help the church set priorities and goals in order to better fulfill its mission. It is ideal for a church that doesn't have a clear focus, one unsure of what it should do next. Through a 3-hour consultation conducted by an outside consultant, a church's leadership will discern 2-3 next-step objectives that the church then sets goals to achieve. The ProcessComplete and submit the form below (send no money now). Ed Fenstermacher will then send the church a report to complete and return. The church should enclose at that time a $350 check payable to the North Indiana Conference, which helps cover the cost of its consultation. No other payments are required. Next, the congregation will be assigned a consultant who will set up the 3-hour consultation with the church. At the consultation, the consultant will share with the leaders the results of the report plus demographic information about their community. Through this information, as well as strategic questions, the consultant will help the church's leaders determine 2-3 next step objectives it should focus on. If desired their consultant will return six months later for a follow-up meeting to hear of the church's progress. The ConsultantsThe consultants are retired NIC pastors who have had a proven track record for a effective ministry. Consultants are assigned according to their availability, however, requests for certain consultants can be made. Request FormFill out this request form to start your congregational assessment.
